Solaris is operated by Netflyp Sdn Bhd ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use the Solaris platform (the "Platform"). Solaris is a product of Prism Intel.

2. Data We Collect

Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (e.g., name). Authentication is managed by Clerk, a third-party identity provider. We store only the minimum necessary to identify your account.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymized usage analytics including pages visited, time spent, and features used. This data is not linked to your identity and is used solely to improve the Platform.

Contact Form Data

When you submit the Enterprise contact form, we collect your name, organization, email, role, intelligence interest, budget range, and message. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

Technical Data

We collect standard technical data including IP address, browser type, and device information for security and operational purposes. This data is stored in server logs and may be retained for up to 90 days.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide access to intelligence content and manage your account
  • To respond to enterprise inquiries and deliver commissioned services
  • To improve the Platform, including data quality and content relevance
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats
  • To send service notifications (e.g., password resets, policy changes)
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

Account data is stored by Clerk (our authentication provider) on their infrastructure, which is SOC 2 Type II compliant. Contact form submissions are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS and stored in our email systems. Platform data (screeners, synthesis, reports) is hosted on Vercel and served via static files. We employ industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your personal data:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management
  • Vercel — web hosting and content delivery
  • Resend / FormSubmit — contact form email delivery (enterprise inquiries only)
  • FRED API — economic data (no user data shared)
  • yfinance / OKX API — market data (no user data shared)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their policies.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted upon request
  • Contact form data: retained for up to 24 months for enterprise inquiry follow-up
  • Technical logs: retained for up to 90 days
  • Market and intelligence data: retained per the Platform data retention policy (7 days free, 90 days paid)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Object to or restrict the processing of your personal data
  • Request export of your personal data in a portable format

8. Cookies

Solaris uses essential cookies for authentication (via Clerk) and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. By using the Platform, you consent to the use of essential cookies.

9. Enterprise Client Data

Enterprise clients who commission bespoke reports or subscribe to tailored intelligence services are bound by the confidentiality terms in their service agreement. Client-specific intelligence, custom watchlists, and commissioned reports are not shared with other clients or published on the public Platform. Enterprise client data is stored in access-controlled environments.

10. Children's Privacy

Solaris is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data Transfer

Solaris infrastructure is hosted on Vercel (global edge network) and Clerk (United States). Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the Platform, you consent to international data transfers as described in this policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
